Neurology

Learn. Understand. Apply.

Empowering people through medical education.

Knowledge is power. It can open doors that were never there. Build roads that were never taken. Create dreams that were never explored.

So despite the perception that neuroscience and clinical neurology are difficult areas of study, we sincerely believe that with the right approach these disciplines can be understood and readily applied to patient care. With the creative content crafted by medical students, we share clear and relevant materials for individuals who are trying to better understand the nervous system. We hope that, as you navigate these pages, you will find neurology as fascinating as we do by channeling our inner passion and appreciation toward the wonders of our bodies and beyond.

Whether you are a studious student or simply have a curious mind, we have it all here for you. We want you to feel empowered. Be prepared in your clinical wards. In short, be your very best. And maybe, just maybe, you will be itching to be a neurologist. You never know.

Meet Dr. Brad Cole

Picking sunshine over snow days, Dr. Brad Cole attended Loma Linda University School of Medicine in the lush hills of Southern California, graduating in 1992. He stayed for a bit longer in the area to further continue his medical training in neurology until 1996. Sparked with a passion for education, he went on to complete a neuroscience teaching fellowship at the University of Rochester. Right after, he solidified his skills in his field by pursuing a fellowship in neuromuscular disease and EMG at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic Foundation.

In addition to his clinical practice in neurology, Dr. Cole has been program director of the Loma Linda Medical School Neuroscience department for more than 20 years. He has been an assistant editor and contributor to the infamous First Aid USLME STEP 1 book. He also enjoys teaching medical students during their clinical rotation.
